The Pump is a youth and community centre for young people in Kitts Green. It has great facilities including a dance studio, music studio, a hair dressing salon, computer suites a cafe and more.
South Birmingham College now offers free short courses at The Pump, these are:
- ICT
- Music & Dance
- Media
- Childcare
- Hair, Beauty, and Barbering
- Skills to find work
The next round of courses will start on 23rd January 2012. The courses run two days a week, for 13 weeks, and those completing the courses will gain a qualification. These courses are ideal for those who are looking for skills and qualifications to find work.
