ASIAN MUSIC NCFE FOUNDATION & INTERMEDIATE CERTIFICATE IN PERFORMANCE SKILLS - LEVEL 1 & 2

Duration: 36 weeks

Are there any entry requirements?
If you’re interested in Asian music, this is the course for you! The course will introduce you to various aspects of Asian music and will help you to develop your performance skills. There are no  formal entry requirements for this course, but you should have a keen interest in music and access to a chosen instrument is important.

The Foundation Certificate in Performance Skills aims are:

• To provide a route to education in music (instrumental or singing)
• To develop an understanding of music
  
• To inform students of Health & Safety requirements associated with using music and performance equipment

What will I study?
The qualification focuses on candidates’ performance ability and developing awareness. You will have the opportunity to learn and play a number of instruments.

The course covers 3 units:

• Employment opportunities within the entertainment industry
• Develop skills
• Rehearsals and performance

What can I do after this course?
On successful completion of this course at level 1 you could progress onto higher level course like the NCFE intermediate level in Performance Skills. After completing level 2 you could progress onto a range of higher level music qualifications at Diploma or HND level.
