Are there any entry requirements?
To enrol on this course you will need a BTEC Introductory Diploma: Construction or 4 GCSEs at grade D or above. Maths, Science and English would be desirable.

What will I study?
You will study through a combination of tutorials, lectures and presentations.
There is an element of group work and you will be expected to undertake significant self-study. You will study the following units.

Core units:
Introduction to the Construction Industry
Investigating health, safety and welfare
Construction science and mathematics

Specialist units:
Construction processes and operations
Construction methods and techniques
Construction drawing techniques

What can I do after this course?
This course will prepare you for employment and provide you with a good grounding to progress onto a BTEC National Diploma: Construction.
