Are there any entry requirements?
To enrol on this course you will need to have gained a level 1 Diploma or NVQ 1 in Painting & Decorating and/or have several years' experience as a Painter & Decorator. This course is ideal if you work in the industry, if you don't please refer to the level 2 Diploma: Painting & Decorating.

What will I study?
You will study through a combination of practical and theoretical workbased assessment skills to form a substantial skill base and understanding of the trade. This course builds on skills gained at Diploma level or NVQ 1 and site experience and observation.

You will study the following main units:

Applying wall coverings to complex areas
Advanced specialist finishes
Planning and organising
Monitoring control evaluation

What can I do after this course?
On successful completion of this course you could progress onto NVQ 3: Painting & Decorating.
