Are there any entry requirements?
To enrol on this course you will need to have NVQ 2: Plumbing or level 3 Plumbing: City & Guilds 6129. This course is ideal if you work within the Plumbing Industry. You will need to undertake a Basic Skills assessment prior to acceptance on this course.

What will I study?
You will study through a combination of practical and theoretical skills to form a substantial skills base and understanding of the trade.

You will study the following units:
Cold water systems
Unvented domestic hot water storage systems
Central heating boilers and controls
Domestic hot water systems
Sanitation systems
Gas (natural)

Safety footwear is essential for workshop practical activities. You will need to supply your own stationery.

What can I do after this course?
On successful completion of this course you could continue training on a range of related courses at this College or become Self Employed.
